Qi Zhou

Hello, I’m Qi (Ellie) Zhou. I’m a UX Professional with a background in Psychology and Human-Computer Interaction. I have 4+ years of professional experience in UX research at Huawei, complemented by 2 years of hands-on experience in UX research and design through my HCI program at the University of Michigan.

I’m passionate about understanding people, uncovering meaningful user insights, and translating research findings into better product and design decisions. My research experience spans in-depth interviews, field studies, competitive analysis, surveys, participatory design, journey mapping, concept testing, heuristic evaluation, and usability testing.

Through my graduate projects, I also gained hands-on experience in interaction design, including wireframes, user flows, prototyping, and design iteration. I enjoy working closely with product and design teams to turn user evidence into practical solutions.

I am a curious learner and constantly gain inspirations from the world around me. In my spare time, I like to read books, write my own medium articles, try new recipes and discover other learning possibilities!

I’m currently exploring full-time opportunities in UX Research, UX Design, and related product-focused roles in Singapore. If you’re interested in my work or would like to learn more about how I could contribute to your team, feel free to reach out at qizhou.work@gmail.com or connect with me via LinkedIn!
